Motichur Laddu - Diwali Special
Moti Chur Laddu are the most auspicious sweets liked by the Lord Ganesha. Any happy moment in an Indian family is incomplete without a special Laddu. On the eve of Diwali, Laddu is considered as a special importance because it is treated auspicious to offer laddu to Lord Ganesha at the Lakshmi-Ganesh Pooja. Lets try to make some laddu's on this auspicious day.

Ingredients :

2 cups Besan
1 & 1/2 Cup Sugar
1/2 cup raisins
8-10 pods Cardamom
Ghee for deep frying

How to prepare:

1. Firstly, mix Besan with 1 &1/2 cup water to make a smooth batter free from lumps. Add Powder cardamom and keep aside.

2. Fry raisins in a little ghee and keep ready. Make sugar syrup with sugar and 1 cup of water. Keep the sugar syrup till its consistency reaches a long string stage. Hold a perforated ladle over oil.

3. Pour some prepared Besan batter on the ladle and the drops will fall through the holes of the ladle on to the hot oil. Cook on low flame, stirring continuously. Continue till the batter is cooked.

4. Now mix boondi, sugar syrup cardamom powder, raisins and stir well.

5. Shape into laddus of desired size and serve.
