Hot Chocolate Puddi

Hot Chocolate Pudding
Hot Chocolate pudding served with a dollop of whipped orange cream.

Ingredients:

For Pudding-
250 grams Dark chocolate (chopped)
1/2 cup Sugar
1 1/2 tablespoons Cornflour / Corn starch
3/4 cup Milk
1/2 cup Heavy Cream
Salt a pinch
2 tablespoons Unsalted butter
1 tablespoon Vanilla essence

For Whipped Cream -
1/4 cup Heavy Cream
1 1/2 teaspoon Sugar
1/8 teaspoon Orange zest (grated)

Method :

To make orange flavored whipped cream, beat together heavy cream, sugar and orange zest in a bowl until soft peaks are formed and refrigerate. For pudding, heat a saucepan, add sugar, cornflour, milk, cream and salt and whisk to mix well. Cook over medium heat until the mixture thickens and bring it to a boil. Remove from the heat and add chocolate, butter and vanilla extract. Whisk the mixture until it becomes light and fluffy. Serve immediately in individual bowls topped with a dollop of the orange cream.
