7aum Arivu Movie Preview

The highly awaited movie '7aum Arivu' has been directed by AR Murugadoss after his blockbuster movie 'Ghajani'. The movie stars Suriya and Shruthi Haasan in the lead roles. 7aum Arivu has been produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin and distributed by Red Giant Movies. The movie is slated for release on October 26, 2011.

Director AR Murugadoss says, that he is proud of his forthcoming film '7aum Arivu', a mix of history, research and medicine. I feel proud to make such a film. And am sure the audience too would feel so after watching it.

AR Murugadoss said that he has not drawn any inspiration for his latest outing 7aum Arivu. In the press meet today, he said that the Hollywood filmmakers can feel free to remake 7aum Arivu!. It shows the level of confidence in the director for his upcoming movie.

The director also said that 7aum Arivu is not just an entertainer as a lot of research has gone into the project and that will be evident once the audience see the film.

"Tamilians were smarter those days and they were capable of doing things which were dismissed as impossible by others. For example, Bodhi Dharma is a martial arts exponent from Kanchipuram. People are still worshipping Bodhidharma in China. In order to give life to the role, Suriya underwent strenuous workouts to get his six packs," Murugadoss added.

The director said that the movie stars Suriya in multiple roles, the director says the actor's dedication and hard work in '7aum Arivu' would fetch him rich praises. He is a director's actor. He would always exceed our expectations. Suriya is superb.

AR Murugadoss said that "After directing Hindi Ghajini, I got lots of offers in Hindi. But I came to Tamil because of the affection I am having for it. In 7aum Arivu there are lot of things beyond cinema. The opening 15 minutes will be astounding. One crore has been spent for one minute. 15 crores were spent for 15 minutes sequences. This was possible because of the producer Udhayanidhi Stalin. Surya has strained himself very much in getting his six packs and in the climax sequences".
