Vandhan Vendran Movie Review

Tamil leading star Jeeva is coming up with his new movie titled 'Vanthan Ventraan', written and directed by R. Kannan. Actor Taapsee Pannu of Jhummandi Naadam fame is playing the role of Jeeva's love interest. The movie has been produced by K. S. Sreenivasan under the banner of Vasan Visual Ventures. The movie is slated for release on September 16, 2011.

Vanthan Ventraan is a crime-thriller film throws lights on the new concept, that one can achieve their dreams without any losses. Sources say that movie revolves around the protagonist, who tries to achieve his goals without any sacrifices. The movie loosely resembles the Bollywood super-hit movie 'I Have Luv Story's', that was released in the year 2010.

Kannan said that "I Hate Luv Storys was a romantic comedy and the lead characters were associated with cinema. However, my Vandhan Vendran is a romantic film set in an action backdrop". "The movie Vandhan Vendran is a commercial entertainer. Though it's primarily a love story, there are also several action sequences in it" he added.

Prominent music director, Thaman scored the music for the movie and already received a good response. Songs were penned by an array of lyricist N.A Muthu Kumar, Yugabharathi, Thamarai and Madan Karky.
