Vellore Mavattam Movie Review

The South Indian movies especially the Tamil movies that are releasing in the recent times have been grabbing the attention of many filmmakers, moviegoers across the borders. The latest release in the Tamil this Friday is Vellore Mavattam (meaning Vellore Distict) is a complete action-packed cop movie that stars Nandha and Poorna in the lead roles.

The high-voltage action-drama cop story is about an honest and sincere police officer (Nandha) who is posted to a village in Vellore district. The IPS officer on his posting to this location comes across the atrocities of a group of criminals in the village.

The tough IPS officer initiates his hunt for the hardcore criminals who are controlling the city for their unlawful activities. The movie makers in one their interviews have also stated that the crew went to Indian Police Academy to learn about the training and life of police men in order ensure that the closest of reality is envisaged in this latest release.

The complete action-packed drama Vellore Mavattam also stars Santhanam, Jayaprakash, G.M. Kumar, Azhagam Perumal, Singamuthu, Mayilsamy, Sathyan Sivakumar, Vaiyapuri and Alex. The movie has been directed by R.N.R. Manohar and has been produced by Kalpathi S. Aghoram, Kalpathi S. Ganesh, Kalpathi S. Suresh under the banner AGS Entertainment.
