Dookudu Movie Review
By Ananth - Published: 09/26/2011
Come to think of it! anything done by Prince Mahesh becomes eye-flashing news and results in raking moolah. This time too the much awaited movie "Dookudu" notched up the top slots in the movie reviews. The movie had a thunderous response. Dookudu was much-awaited movie not only by the cast and crew, but also by zillions of his Prince's fans and also those in the movie circuit.
The back to back hit director Srinu Vaitla is a happy man for sure for his latest blockbuster hit after Namo Venkatesa. Srinu Vaitla, fondly called as Vaitla is well-known for his action-comedy movies. The director made best use of Mahesh's body language, style and his mannerisms in Dookudu. The comedy of the movie is once again triumphant like in Vaitla's earlier movies and the comedy king, Brahmanandam and his contemporary MS Narayana are surely the top-of-everybodys'-recall for their 'punch' dialogues.
The movie also has another sizzler Parvathi Melton in an aesthetically shot item-number. Although the movie has top actors and actresses, from the beginning onwards it is distinctly evident that Dookudu is a complete Mahesh Babu movie. Mahesh continues to experiment with his dialect like the way he did it in his previous movie Khaleja, which again is a well appreciated.
Dookudu beings with the murder attempt on Shankar Narayan, an honest politician by few anti-social elements. Many people, politicians and other bureaucrats assume that Shankar Narayan is dead; however, the politician's loyal adherents protect him in a hospital for 14 years as he goes into coma. ,
Shankar Narayan wants his son Ajay to be politician, however, to everyone's surprise he becomes a cop and sets on a mission to eliminate mafia. His mission leads him to Istanbul to nail down Nayak, a don. The tracks of Istanbul also lead the way to meet Ajay's soul mate, who is a stylist and is there to partake in a fashion show.
Ajay with his undeterred dedication towards his mission eliminates several notorious criminals and eventually Nayak, who is also his father's oppressor. Overall, Dookudu is a complete package of action, romance, comedy, beautiful locations and last but not the least, the gorgeous Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
Dookudu also stars 'mana' villain Sonu Sood, who is growing up the ladder movie by movie, however, Sonu Sood is slowly becoming the only villain who can combat with the hero. The audience would be too glad to see Sonu Sood in a new avatar.
this movie is a mix of comedy scenes.. as though watching, "gemini comedy" channel. different comedy tracks come one after the other.. you get entertainment from the movie but you wont get the feel of watching a movie..that too mahesh babu movie... violence is a bit heavy too..
