India all set for F1 Grand Prix 2011

When it comes to any kind of sports, India is very famous as one of best countries to produce the best sporting personalities in the world. The first ever Formula One Grand Prix 2011 to be hosted by the country is all set to begin on Sunday, 30th October, 2011 at the Buddh International Circuit, Greater Noida, UP.
Before the game on Sunday, it will also host a free practice session on Friday. This will be followed by a qualifying session on Saturday, where all the F1 racers will make their best to qualify for the mega event starting on Sunday.
F1 racers of the home team, the Sahara Force India may also look to gain possible points to make their spots in the mega event. Narain Karthikeyan, the son of the Indian soil will make his dream on the F1 track of the Buddh International Circuit. On the other hand, Karun Chandhok was unlucky to make his racing spot for the event.
To put-up a good show at the Grand Prix 2011, the Team Lotus has also decided to go with the regular racers Jarno Trulli and Heikki Kovalainen. The business group is aiming to finish by atleast at 10th place. As finishing at the 10th place, any groups might receive $30 million as revenue from FIA.
On the other hand, Indian F1 racer Karthikeyan stated, "Driving in front of the home crowd cheering on is going to be a surreal experience. A once in a lifetime experience and I feel extremely fortunate. There is a huge buzz around the Grand Prix already and I'm sure that it'll be a resounding success that will motivate more youngsters towards the sport and give us the future F1 drivers."
The racetrack is about 5.4 km long and spread over an area of 875 acres. It has the seating capacity of more than 1 lakh spectators. According to the sources, the fastest lap time of the track with an average speed of 210 kmph is expected to be around 1 minute and 27 seconds. It has come to notice that the F1 race at this track will have a total of 60 laps during the race.
The Indian Formula One Grand Prix must be a successful one to decide the future of F1 sport in the country. Its success will also determine the country's ability to host any forthcoming global sport events.
