Next to Sabarmati ashram is an equally important historical monument that has been attracting crowds for over decades now. The Hathi Singh Jain temple situated in North of the famous Delhi Gate, Ahmedabad, is one of the most sought after tourist places in this city. Built in 1848, this place is dedicated to the 15th century Jain saint, Dharamnath. This pilgrimage was constructed by the famous Jain Seth Hathisingh Kesarisingh and hence is named after him.

This holy shrine is made entirely of stunning White marble. To make this place exclusive, all the marbles were specially brought from Rajasthan.
