Masala Bay - Wah Wah Masala Bay

Thinking of going on a romantic date and want it to be a candle light dinner? Well, head towards the Masala Bay for that exquisite and special experience. Located in the grand Taj Land's End, Bandra, Mumbai, this famous restaurant's high standard is no less than a challenge for its rivals. The very name suggests that it's a contemporary style restaurant dedicated to traditional Indian Masalas and Spices. People from all over the city visit this exotic place to sample the preparations here. This eatery serves its customers with the new genre of food that magically blends the traditional way of cooking with strong and powerful overtones of modern style.

Recently when I visited this much admired restaurant I couldn't help but fall in love with its ambience. This entertaining place is always soaked in a celebratory mood. The crowd here usually comprises of the creme de la creme and the who's who of this city. The elegant joyous palates not only add to this places charisma but also prove time and again why it's touted as one of the best restaurant of Mumbai. Its chic interiors are striking and the well-designed furniture is impressive. To add to this, a well stocked bar captivates your attention. The food here is of presented too in a beautiful manner. The scrumptious Murgh Makai tikki, The Smoky Kali mirch ka Murgh, The Robust karaikudi Fish stuffed with Shrimps and The Lip smacking Murgh khatta pyaz were all worth indulging in. The chef's choice Chicken dhaniya and Achari Mirch Aloo were delicious too. I was told that other dishes like Paperwali Macchi, Atta Chicken and Galouti kebabs over here are super. After the main course I ended my enthralling visit with a yummy Kulfi and a warm baked Gulab Jamun and I must say it was irresistible. So, all you foodies out there, the Masala Bay is must-eat-at!
