Woodside Restaurant Inn - Relaxation Personified

When I was invited to the Woodside Inn restaurant, Mumbai for a party, I had no idea what I was in for. All that I had heard about this place was its famous location given that it was set in a heritage building. But once I reached the venue, I couldn't agree more with my friend's choice for selecting this place as a celebration venue.

The interiors of this place were well done with subtle coloured walls adding to its charm. The ambience reflects a calm English country side bistro. The laid back atmosphere of this pub is coupled with pretty pictures of metropolises hanging on the wall. Woodside Inn provided us with a European menu which included all those dishes that are a must have on a party menu. From Crispy Waffles, Sinful Pancakes and Gorgeous Blueberry Cheesecakes to delicious Pastas and Grilled Cheese Sandwiches, this place was a foodie's delight. To add to it, the Smoky Stuffed Mushrooms, mouth watering Grilled Rawas and appetising Sariska Chicken left us agape. Cocktails like the Violetini, Pomegranate Martini and Cucumber basil martini were all lusciously served!

For music lovers this airy Mediterranean restro-bar is no less than pure bliss. Its amazing playlist can be rarely found elsewhere. Whether it is jazz and alternative tracks or mainstream pop and blues, this restaurant plays all genres. One would witness a mixed crowd with college students during the day and corporate crowd in the evenings. This roof top restaurant's incredible setting simply mesmerised me. By offering a surreal view of the entire city, it's a restaurant you aren't likely to forget soon!

So next time you visit Colaba, hang out at this great place with a pitcher full of beer and take in the view of the city stretching far and wide.
