Rockstar Movie Review

Movies have always been the biggest entertainment and when it comes to the case of the Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor, the movies have become more eagerly awaited by many of his fans, especially the women fans.

This week is truly going to be a big treat for all his women fans as his latest movie Rockstar, that has received roaring responses from its promos and teasers has already created the necessary heat amongst the moviegoers.

Rockstar has several other reasons for being considered as one of the biggest releases of 2011, to being with the director Imtiaz Ali, who earlier gave a blockbuster hit "Jab We Met" secondly,the music for Rockstar has been composed by the Oscar Award winner AR Rahman.

One song from the movie, Sadda Haq, itself is a top-ranked evidence as to prove the exhilaration that the movie has created. Also, the movie is the last silver screen appearance for Shammi Kapoor.

The movie Rockstar is the story of Janardhan who hails from a middle class family in Pitampura, Delhi. Janardhan has big career choice in his life that is to become a rockstar like Jim Morrison. In fulfilling his passion, he encounters several people, largely who embarrass and scorn him.

Janardhan, on his pursuit of becoming a rockstar learns that all the great rockstars have a common thing, that is tragedy. He comes to a conclusion that a sorrowful past and a greif-stricken hearbreak made them the world's famous rockstars.

In such state of thought process, Janardhan meets Heer Kaul, who is undoubtedly 'the diva' of Delhi University. Heer is gorgeous, brilliant, arrogant and rich. Janardhan in this process of becoming a complete rockstar Janardhan begins to woo Heer.

In a nutshell, rockstar is the story of Janardhan who leaves home to become Jordan and travels through the highs and lows of life. The rest of the story is to know will Jordan be successful in experiencing a heartbreak? Will he be able to become a rockstar? And will he actually be a successful rockstar or not?
