'Puss in Boots' is the famous character from the Shrek series. The character is now starring in his very own 3D animated movie. The trailer has received more than 1.2 million views on YouTube since its debut on August 11th. It works as a very amusing introduction of Puss in Boots who hilariously explains why he chose to wear nothing more than a hat, belt, gloves and boots and why that is his stated attire for a long time. The movie has been in production since 2004.



The movie gives us a background on who Puss in Boots is before his apperance in Shrek 2. He is accompanied by Humpty Dumpty and Kitty Softpaws as he tries to save the world from murderous outlaws known as Jack and Jill who find an ancient power that is capabale of disrupting the world.



A DreamWorks Animation, it is directed by Chris Miller who had also directed Shrek 3 in 2007. 'Puss in Boots' character is played by the famous Antonio Banderas and Salma Hayek also plays a role in the animated prequel. The story is written by Tom Wheeler. The movie releases November 4 th , 2011 in Real D 3D and IMAX 3D.
